Job Summary:

The Facility Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of credentialing and privileging records for contracted providers at assigned healthcare facilities. This position oversees facility credentialing processes, monitors expirable documents, and collaborates with Medical Staff Offices (MSOs) and Operations, and other internal teams to ensure timely completion of credentialing requirements and effective provider onboarding for assigned programs. This role plays a critical part in supporting Eagle’s provider’s onboarding process and maintaining compliance across multiple facilities

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate initial, recredentialing, and add-on applications for providers requiring facility credentialing.
  • Maintain facility credentialing databases and provider files, ensuring accuracy and current information.
  • Facilitate and monitor completion of all required facility applications, verifications, and expirable documents.
  • Verify credentials with primary sources and document findings in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between providers, MSOs, and internal teams to communicate credentialing status, requirements, and outstanding items.
  • Prepare and distribute credentialing status reports to leadership and operations as requested.
  • Stay current with applicable regulatory, accrediting, and facility-specific standards.
  • Assist in preparing for audits, surveys and facility reappointments.
  • Conduct weekly to biweekly follow-ups on outstanding applications and pending items.
  • Proactively identify and escalate barriers to credentialing progress to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with operation, onboarding and scheduling teams to support seamless provider transitions.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all sensitive provider and organizational information at all times.

· Solid understanding of healthcare accreditation and credentialing standards (e.g., The Joint Commission).

· High attention to detail and follow-through.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

· Familiarity with credentialing platforms such as Modio, MDStaff, CACTUS, Echo, or similar.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in credentialing, MSO work, or healthcare administration.

· CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) Certification preferred.

· Experience supporting multiple healthcare facilities or programs is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer


The pay range for this role is:
55,000 - 60,000 USD per year(Hybrid (Atlanta, Georgia, US))
