HTI is seeking an IT Specialist to support operations at OP on a contract basis. This role is responsible for providing technical support to shopfloor and office end users, resolving hardware and software incidents, and supporting endpoint device lifecycle activities. The ideal candidate is adaptable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Flexibility Required: Must be available to work after 5:00 PM or on weekends as needed to support business operations
Respond to and resolve endpoint and shopfloor hardware and software incidents and service requests from shopfloor and office end users.
Provide support across Level 1 (call management), Level 2 (procedure-based resolution), and Level 3 issues based on experience and skill level.
Troubleshoot and support desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other endpoint hardware.
Support shopfloor IT systems to ensure minimal downtime and continuous operations.
Perform PC and phone renewals, including device setup, configuration, deployment, data migration, and decommissioning of outdated equipment.
Document incidents, solutions, and procedures in the IT ticketing system.
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to appropriate IT teams when required.
Follow IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
Experience providing IT support in a professional environment; shopfloor or manufacturing support experience is a plus.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems, common business applications, and endpoint hardware.
Familiarity with incident and request management using ticketing systems.
Ability to support Level 1–Level 3 issues depending on experience.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Experience with PC and mobile device lifecycle management.
Exposure to shopfloor, manufacturing, or industrial IT environments.
Basic knowledge of networking, Active Directory, or endpoint management tools.
On-site role supporting both office and shopfloor users.
Hands-on technical support position requiring physical interaction with IT equipment.
