Treasury Management Officer at Central Bank – Urbandale, Iowa

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the development of new cash management relationships for the bank, meeting sales targets for business development and ensuring new accounts are profitable. Responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent sales pipeline.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Relationship Growth & Retention

• Develop calling program to target non-bank customers for cash management and deposit products, with emphasis on deposit-only business generation.
• Develop calling program to advise current bank customers of cash management products.
• Meet periodically with existing cash management customers to ensure proper servicing of accounts and to expand existing bank relationships. Secure qualified business referrals from existing clients.

Customer Experience

• Assist in pricing and negotiation of cash management products to optimize relationship profitability.
• Prepare sales presentations, explaining services offered, and recommending services that would be of value to the customer.
• Assist in the proper implementation of cash management services in coordination with the Cash Management Administrator by providing complete and clear instructions and documentation.
• Manage client training and ongoing service, including resolution of customer issues.
• Maintain professional demeanor and promote cooperative interaction with managers and staff of all the bank areas with which you interact.

Collaboration

• Assist bank personnel in understanding and promoting cash management services, working in conjunction with relationship officers to promote cash management program.
• Report current status of potential sales to manager in a timely manner. Prepare sales and other periodic reports.
• Cross-sell the bank’s products and services, and refer customers to the appropriate staff. Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned by management

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in similar job duties
