ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern with an interest in Human Resources and business administration to join our organization for the Summer of 2026. The Human Resources Intern will assist the HR department who oversee day-to-day corporate and venue employee matters to support the The h.wood Group. You will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of the HR department while gaining valuable insight to further your interest in your chosen career field.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Updating company databases by inputting new employee contact information and employment details
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed
- Assist in planning and scheduling interviews
- Assisting the HR staff in gathering employee files when needed
- Coordinating new hire orientations
- File, organize, and scan HR documents into the electronic system
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college with a focus in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related courses to receive credit
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
JOB DETAILS AND BENEFITS:
- Temporary Position – Six to ten weeks
