This is a high-impact strategic role leading the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle management of motorization and automation solutions within the window coverings space. You will serve as the driving force behind product innovation, vendor partnerships, and franchisee value creation, ensuring programs deliver measurable business growth and competitive differentiation. Acting as a cross-functional leader, youll collaborate with marketing, finance, operations, and external suppliers to shape long-term strategy and execution. The role blends technical expertise with commercial insight, requiring a strong understanding of automation technologies and category dynamics. With exposure to executive stakeholders and industry-leading partners, this opportunity offers both visibility and long-term growth potential. The position is remote or hybrid, with up to 25% travel.
Accountabilities:- Lead the long-term strategic vision and roadmap for motorization and automation product categories, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Own full product lifecycle management, from innovation and vendor collaboration to launch, optimization, and performance tracking.
- Serve as the primary liaison for Vendor Alliance Partners and key suppliers, driving strong partnerships and innovation initiatives.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, franchisee feedback, and category performance to inform data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operations to support forecasting, promotional programs, rebate structures, and growth initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance and partner with finance teams on budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Translate franchisee and customer insights into actionable product improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Support corporate meetings, vendor events, and industry engagements to strengthen program visibility and alignment.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, preferably managing complex product portfolios.
- Direct experience within the window coverings industry, with strong technical aptitude in motorization and automation solutions.
- Proven experience working with external vendors and managing strategic supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, trends, and financial performance metrics.
- Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Strategic mindset with strong organizational and execution capabilities.
- Experience in franchising or home services industries preferred.
- Familiarity with rebate programs, forecasting models, promotional funding structures, and product safety compliance preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
