About This Position

Job Title: Connected Buildings Analyst

Department: Building Performance

Reports to: VP of Dynamiq Services

Location: Charlotte, NC, Greenville, SC or Columbia, SC


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

• Good understanding of Mechanical and Controls systems as it relates to building performance

• Ability to positively engage the customer and assist them with understanding the potential of their building

• Develop a roadmap that helps the customer understand future projects

• Understanding of Energy Companies’ rebates and incentives.

• Ability to include Energy Companies Rebate/Incentives with projects

• Work with PSR’s so we include rebates and incentives in applicable projects.

• Skilled at developing efficient processes and training other team members.

• A minimum of three (3) years related work experience.

• Background in Mechanical or Controls Engineering related to Building Performance/HVAC

• Assist with Data Loggers – Deployment, downloading, reporting and customer presentation

General Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Self-starter, ability to be both an individual contributor as well as a mentor of entry level employees

• Organizational skills include, but not limited to, the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently, and the ability to manage resource procurement and utilization.

• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Project, and Power BI

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Advanced verbal and written communication skills include, but not limited to, listening effectively and soliciting input from others.

• Knowledge of the energy industry is a plus.

• Knowledge of general job site safety practices and standards

Responsibilities

The Client Objectives Engineer is responsible for engaging energy companies in our service areas and understanding each of the programs they each offer. Customer engagement and oversight for projects that include incentives or rebates are vital.

Specific responsibilities shall include but not be limited to work as described below.

• Increasing the company’s visibility within energy companies (Duke, Dominion, Santee Cooper, and COOP’s) will be vital for our long-term success.

• Educating our team on changing regulations, incentives, rebates, etc. will be a primary duty.

• Travel to each of our offices will be necessary to ensure proper team engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business or Accounting is preferred.
