About This Position
Job Summary/Objective:
To maintain and execute a variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax returns, general ledger entries, budgeting, forecasting, and bank reconciliations. Assist with the preparation of monthly financial analysis reports, developing and maintaining department budgets and generating cost reports.
Essential Job Functions
1. Prepares consolidated financial statements and performs and/or reviews bank reconciliations
- Prepares ledger entries and by maintaining files and records, and reconciling accounts, by gathering and analyzing information from departments and the general ledger system
- Develops spreadsheet reports
- Prepares payments by reconciling accounts, accruing expenses; requesting disbursements, and assigning account numbers
- Provide accounting support by converting data to general ledger system, obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements and reviewing financial information
- Processes Accounts Payable paperwork at completion of the check run.
2. Manages credit card charges and performs such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time – quite often on short notice - by the CFO or Accounting Manager.
- Obtain Online Credit Card activity statements (approx. 34 accounts)
- Download bank transactions from merchant account, sort data and total by Care Center and merchant number
- Record Credit Card deposits and perform bank transfers and care center cash transfers
- Perform numerous tasks as assigned by CFO and/or Accounting Manager
- Review work of Accounting Clerk & assist other team members
Supervisory Responsibility
This role has no supervisory duties assigned.

Travel
No travel is expected for this position, however due to department needs this can vary.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least two years of hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Training or experience in computer applications.
