This strategic leadership role is responsible for defining and executing product and portfolio strategies in the global interventional microwave ablation and software solutions market. The Director of Portfolio & Product Management drives innovation and growth by translating business objectives into actionable product plans, evaluating market opportunities, and shaping solutions that meet customer needs. The role requires close collaboration with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, sales, and clinical teams to ensure successful product launches and lifecycle management. This position also leverages market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to guide strategic decision-making and optimize the portfolio. The role is both strategic and technical, balancing long-term vision with operational execution, and may expand to include leadership of a high-performing team. Success in this position directly impacts market presence, product performance, and business growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement portfolio and product strategies, including lifecycle management, pricing, and go-to-market approaches
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and inform product roadmaps
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and sales, to drive new product development and optimize existing offerings
  • Build business cases and prioritize investments based on ROI, market potential, and strategic alignment
  • Engage with key stakeholders, clinicians, and industry experts to ensure customer-centric innovation and clinical relevance
  • Analyze competitor strategies and market trends to strengthen competitive positioning and inform strategic initiatives
  • Present portfolio updates, roadmaps, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ years in product or portfolio management leadership roles
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • Deep subject matter expertise in interventional medical devices, ablation technologies, and clinical software solutions
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic product and portfolio plans
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and ROI evaluation skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience in global market strategy, clinical evidence generation, and regulatory considerations
  • Proficiency with business tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP or HCM systems preferred
