The Vice President, Global Psychosocial Services will lead a multi-region team in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive psychosocial programs for unaccompanied and displaced children. This role combines strategic leadership, program design, and operational oversight to ensure services meet professional and ethical standards globally. The position involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, guiding multi-disciplinary teams, and influencing organizational and sector-wide best practices. The successful candidate will oversee program growth, capacity building, safeguarding, and evaluation initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and child protection principles. This is a remote role with opportunities for global engagement, strategic impact, and shaping innovative psychosocial service delivery across multiple regions.
- Lead the strategic design, implementation, and oversight of psychosocial services delivered across multiple regions, ensuring a trauma-informed, child-centered, and culturally responsive approach.
- Supervise and mentor domestic and international psychosocial leadership teams, fostering high-quality programming and alignment with global standards.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and advisor to executive leadership on psychosocial services, child protection, and safeguarding practices.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with governments, NGOs, and global child protection actors, representing the organization at conferences, panels, and stakeholder forums.
- Oversee program budgets, fiscal planning, and resource allocation to ensure financial responsibility and sustainability.
- Collaborate with internal teams including legal, partnerships, technology, operations, finance, and development to ensure integrated, effective service delivery.
- Develop, monitor, and evaluate program performance, outcomes, and quality assurance metrics, ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards.
- Graduate degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; licensure preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working with displaced, refugee, or at-risk youth populations, including unaccompanied minors.
- At least 7 years of senior management experience leading multi-region or global teams and programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care, psychosocial program design, and culturally responsive interventions.
- Experience in contract and grant management, including budget planning, staffing, reporting, and program evaluation.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and provide sound professional judgment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish; additional languages a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, etc.) and remote collaboration tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate global teams and travel as required.

- Competitive salary range: $143,500 – $179,375 per year.
