The Director, Global Operations will lead and optimize the global delivery model for a fast-growing professional services organization. This role combines strategic vision with operational execution, overseeing global teams, vendors, and processes to ensure high-quality, scalable, and cost-effective delivery. You will drive process standardization, improve performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across regions. Acting as a key partner to senior leadership, you will provide actionable insights, manage escalations, and support global talent strategies to enable sustainable growth. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, operational rigor, and the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Remote flexibility is available, with some cross-time-zone collaboration required.

Accountabilities:
  • Oversee end-to-end performance of the global delivery model, identifying gaps and driving measurable improvements across teams and partners
  • Design, standardize, and continuously improve global operating processes to ensure efficiency, clarity, and scalability
  • Manage vendor relationships, enforce SLAs, address performance gaps, and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
  • Serve as an operational partner to internal groups, managing expectations, resolving escalations, and driving alignment across business functions
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance frameworks to provide clear visibility and inform executive decision-making
  • Support global talent strategies, including hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning aligned with business needs
  • Lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, including process reengineering and adoption of new tools and capabilities
  • Develop communications, training materials, and documentation to support adoption and understanding of global operations processes
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls to ensure accurate and disciplined execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in global operations, professional services, consulting, or related leadership role
  • Proven experience managing global delivery models, including vendor and partner ecosystems
  • Track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing operational processes and delivery models at scale
  • Demonstrated ability to enforce accountability, track performance, and resolve operational issues
  • Advanced analytical skills and experience building dashboards, KPIs, and performance frameworks
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to present complex data clearly to executives
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments with multiple priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and alignment skills
  • Experience leading transformation initiatives, scaling operations, and improving execution
  • Comfort working across time zones in a global, collaborative environment
  • Exposure to AI-enabled workflows, automation, or process reengineering is a plus
