About This Position
We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Registered Nurse (RN) to join our private OBGYN clinic with integrated medspa services. This role is essential in delivering exceptional patient care in a warm, supportive, and efficient environment.
The ideal candidate will provide direct clinical support to providers, coordinate patient care, review and communicate lab results, and assist in maintaining accurate and thorough medical records. This position also offers the opportunity to support and expand into medspa services as the practice grows.
Minimum Qualifications- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or higher)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience (women’s health or outpatient setting preferred)
- Solid understanding of nursing principles, patient care standards, and medical terminology
- Strong computer skills and comfort with EMR systems
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in OBGYN, women’s health, or outpatient clinic setting
- Familiarity with AthenaOne or similar EHR systems
- Experience with patient portals and electronic patient communication
- Interest or experience in aesthetic/medspa services (laser, body contouring, or skincare treatments)
- Additional certifications (ACLS or aesthetic certifications) are a plus
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, and update medical histories
- Prepare patients for provider evaluation and assist with exams and procedures (gynecologic and obstetric)
- Maintain clean, stocked, and prepared exam rooms
- Review and prep charts prior to patient visits (labs, imaging, prior notes)
- Identify missing or incomplete clinical information ahead of appointments
- Collaborate with providers to support efficient patient flow and care delivery
- Review laboratory results for provider follow-up
- Communicate normal lab results to patients via phone or patient portal per protocol
- Escalate abnormal findings to providers for review
- Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
- Manage incoming patient messages in the EMR system in a timely manner
- Respond to routine clinical questions within scope and protocol
- Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and documentation
- Assist with or perform select medspa treatments within scope and training
- Support patient consultations and education regarding aesthetic services
- Maintain treatment documentation and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Assist in preparing patients for treatments such as body contouring, RF, or laser procedures
- Contribute to a positive, patient-focused aesthetic experience
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the EMR
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all clinical and safety regulations
- Follow established protocols and support quality improvement initiatives
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach
- Ability to recognize when to escalate clinical concerns appropriately
