Position SummaryThe Guest Service Agent – Reservations plays a key role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests from the moment they inquire about their stay.
This position is responsible for managing reservations, providing accurate information about accommodations and amenities, and assisting guests with inquiries or concerns. The Guest Service Agent will utilize reservation and booking systems to process reservations efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
This role also works closely with the front desk, housekeeping, and other resort departments to ensure guest preferences and special requests are communicated and fulfilled.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking platforms
Provide detailed information about room availability, rates, packages, and resort amenities
Process reservations accurately and efficiently using the resort’s booking system
Respond to guest inquiries and assist with reservation changes or issues
Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the appropriate departments
Work collaboratively with the front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure a smooth guest experience
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all guest interactions
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Experience with hotel reservation systems or property management software
Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Fluency in multiple languages
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail when processing reservations
Effective problem-solving and guest service abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
Comfort using reservation software and computer systems
