As a Quality Management Intern, you’ll gain valuable, hands-on experience working alongside our Quality team to support key operational and process improvement activities. You’ll help with customer claim tracking, assist with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) requests, organize test certificates, and contribute to quality reporting and documentation.

You’ll also play a role in improving how our team shares information by helping update and organize Quality resources on our intranet and SharePoint sites. This is a great opportunity to learn how quality management systems operate in a real-world manufacturing environment while developing valuable analytical and documentation skills.

How you'll help the formula:
  • Process and document customer claims related to logistics and pricing
  • Support data collection, tracking, and follow-up activities in coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Prepare, coordinate, and track PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) requests
  • Assist in collecting, reviewing, and organizing test certificates
  • Ensure proper filing and availability of certificates in accordance with quality requirements
  • Support the update and maintenance of quality-related reports
  • Data analysis and preparation of summaries for internal use
  • Support the documentation and maintenance of quality procedures and work instructions
  • Organize, review, and improve the Quality Department SharePoint intranet page
  • Other duties as assigned
Key elements for your role:
  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Engineering, Business Operations, Supply Chain or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability and willingness to seek learning opportunities independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent PC skills especially, data entry (Excel, Word, MS teams)
  • Potential travel within Michigan, up to 10%
