PROJECT/TASK MANAGER

Currently, GDIT is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to join our team.
Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Project/Task Manager . Here, you'll see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and where your program management career can go at GDIT.
The PTB Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating lifecycle execution of selected chartered PTB projects and taskers. Core responsibilities include monitoring project performance, ensuring deployment readiness, overseeing schedules, validating quality of deliverables, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
The PTB Project Manager serves as the single focal point for PTB on assigned initiatives, managing inter-section coordination on behalf of the PTB Branch. This includes scheduling and facilitating meetings, generating agendas, preparing documentation packages, consolidating inputs from partner sections, and ensuring timely submission of deliverables.
The Project Manager is also responsible for proactively analyzing and improving internal procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and operational reliability. This role functions with a high level of autonomy and accountability, ensuring successful execution of project objectives without routine program-level oversight.
This position is not supervisory in nature.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Project/Task Manager must have:
• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Experience: 5+ years of related experience
• Experience working with the Department of State of familiarity with federal government processes preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and associated collaboration/workflow tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, competing priorities, and shifting deadlines.
• Experience coordinating deliverables and program documentation across multiple technical and administrative stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and represent PTB professionally in interagency environments.
• Security clearance level: Obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
• US citizenship required.
• Occasional travel may be required.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $110,500.00 - $149,500.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
