- Strategic Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Technical Account Managers, guiding their professional development and enhancing their skills. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations within the team.
- Strategy and Operations Oversight: Develop and implement strategies for the Technical Account Management function to align with company goals and client needs. Ensure that operations are running smoothly and that all technical account activities are coordinated and effective.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a senior point of technical contact. Ensure that client technical needs are not only met but exceeded, through proactive engagement and high-level problem-solving.
- Innovation and Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies used by the Technical Account Management team. Stay ahead of industry trends and ensure that the team is equipped with the latest knowledge and technology.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Account Managers, Product, and Engineering, to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with broader company initiatives. Act as a bridge between the technical team and other business units.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Technical Account Management team. Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Escalation Management: Handle complex client issues that have been escalated from the Technical Account Managers, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 8 years in Programmatic or Campaign Management roles in digital advertising, including at least 3 years in a team leadership position.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams, with strong people management and mentoring abilities.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of DSPs (The Trade Desk, Google DV360, Xandr, Amazon DSP or similar), DMPs, RTB, Analytics Platforms (Google Analytics/ Adobe Analytics) tagging, and bidding. Ability to oversee and guide complex technical problem-solving.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align team goals with broader company objectives. Experience in developing and implementing technical strategies.
- Client-Centric: Exceptional client management skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships at a senior level.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities, with experience in reporting and performance analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other data analysis tools.
- Problem-Solving: High-level problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Nice to Have:
- Advanced Technical Skills: Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and understanding of coding languages such as HTML, JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the digital advertising landscape, with a focus on emerging technologies and trends.
