About This Position
Trinity Springs, a Cassia community, is hiring a Bus Drive/ Housekeeper to join our team in Oxford, FL. At Trinity Springs, you'll be part of a supportive, mission-driven team that takes pride in making a difference every day for residents and families alike. In this role, you will primarily be working as a bus driver with light housekeeping/maintenance assistance work when you are not driving. For this position, you will undergo a DOT physical and background screening to for monitoring of driver's license.
As a Bus Driver, you will drive a 15-passenger bus to help with access for our residents by bringing them to scheduled events. The ideal candidate is a safe driver with a positive attitude and experience supporting seniors, ready to manage scheduled trips and maintain the bus to standards. During times when you are not driving a bus, you will be assisting with light housekeeping and maintenance work such as performing routine cleaning of resident rooms and maintenance repairs.
Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule
Wage Range: $14.50 - $17.00 / hour depending on experience
Shifts Available: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with potential to drive outside of scheduled hours for residential events

Bus Driver/ Housekeeper Responsibilities:
- Drive the bus for schedule resident and employee outings.
- Complete proper documentation, including daily logs and quarterly reports.
- Track and schedule maintenance for the bus.
- Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, etc.
- Communicate with different sites regarding time and location of daily trips.
- Additional duties may include cleaning windows, moving and arranging furniture.
- Perform routine maintenance repairs, housekeeping duties and projects as needed.
- Follow-through on projects with little supervision.
- Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.
- Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- DOT Physical and background screening required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older due to federal DOT licensing requirements.
- Prior maintenance/houskeeping experience preferred.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
- Able to make repairs inside and outside of building, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, replace light bulbs, filters, etc.
- Able to use basic maintenance tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years.
- Experience working with persons with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired.
