Role Overview
We’re supporting a large-scale data center construction project in Tennessee and are looking to bring on an OFE Manager to support the coordination of critical electrical equipment across the build.
This role plays a key part in ensuring that major equipment including medium voltage systems is delivered, tracked, and ready for installation in alignment with the construction schedule. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, highly coordinated environment where timing, communication, and execution directly impact project success.
Responsibilities
- Track and manage owner-furnished electrical equipment from procurement through delivery and installation
- Monitor manufacturing status, shipping timelines, and delivery schedules for critical equipment
- Coordinate closely with field teams and subcontractors to ensure installation readiness
- Align equipment delivery schedules with construction sequencing and project milestones
- Identify and communicate risks related to equipment delays or site readiness
- Support planning for receiving, staging, and handling of equipment onsite
- Collaborate with project controls, scheduling, and construction teams to maintain alignment
- Provide regular updates and reporting on equipment status and project impact
- 5+ years of experience in construction, project coordination, or equipment management
- Experience supporting equipment tracking, procurement coordination, or logistics on construction projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
- Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams
Nice to Have:
- Experience on data center or mission-critical projects
- Exposure to electrical systems (MV, switchgear, transformers, UPS, etc.)
- Background working with owner-furnished equipment (OFE) or similar scopes
