Position purpose:
This position is responsible for maintaining a perpetual inventory system and ensuring that inventories are accurately counted on a monthly basis. Perform inventory control checks and run reports to problem solve inventory discrepancies and issues. Responsible for the accurate documentation and maintenance of the The inventory control system inventory and scanner system.
Impact on revenues and profit:
Inventory Control has the impact on the cost of goods sold by ensuring the inventory costs reported are accurate. The Department has a major impact on the overall merchandise received for all the locations within the Casino’s daily function and overall maintains correct counts throughout Warehouse and locations to control the company’s assets.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2–3 years of inventory control experience, ideally in food & beverage, hospitality, casino, or warehouse operations.
Skills:
- Knowledge of Inventory Control system.
- Requires knowledge of Food and Beverage in a Casino environment.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook software.
- Have the ability to prepare Spreadsheets for the end of the month using Excel.
- Able to perform inventories and spot checks without assistance.
- Knowledge of weights and measures.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Required:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Required Work Cards needed:
- Valid Clark County Health Card
- Valid Las Vegas Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM Card)
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
Inventory Management & Accuracy
- Enter manual inventories in the inventory control system for all food outlets.
- Responsible for maintaining database and accuracy of barcodes of inventory products through use of scanners for warehouse, spa and all beverage outlets.
- Responsible for coordination of Month End inventory process for the property including Warehouse.
- Responsible for receiving in the inventory control system.
- Assist maintain and mapping recipes in the inventory control system to assist F&B in managing food cost.
- Post wastage in the inventory control system for all outlets including warehouse.
- Review discrepancies in warehouse at the time of inventory count.
- Recommend organization of warehouse for efficient inventory count.
- Coordinate with F&B team shortages.
- Receiving non-physical invoices.
- Updating list of inventory items that are at risk of looming spoilage.
- Maintaining a warehouse par level stock.
- Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company’s standards.
- Spot-check on all incoming products priced by weight.
- Spot-check daily outlet requisitions.
- Manage the manual process to integrate spa Book 4 Time system with the inventory control system.
