Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing materials while also supporting the Prefabrication Department as needed. This position is responsible for receiving and verifying shipments, organizing parts by job, assisting with the preparation and prefabrication of security equipment, preparing completed orders for shipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy through regular audits. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with a professional attitude, have strong attention to detail, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively across warehouse, engineering, and project teams.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

· Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks with strong attention to detail. For example, unloading, load, pack, wrap, label, ship, mail

· Receive and open all incoming packages, verifying contents against packing slips

· Stage received parts to the appropriate job pile and track all components

· Ensure efficient use of warehouse space to maximize storage capacity and workflow

· Coordinate preparation of parts for shipment, making sure items are packaged accurately and shipped promptly once orders are fulfilled or according to scheduled expectation dates

· Create FedEx shipping labels and packing slips for customer deliveries

· Conduct weekly spot checks and inventory counts, reporting results to the Warehouse Manager

· Monitor shipping and receiving queues, ensuring that all outgoing shipments are dispatched on schedule and incoming deliveries are received, documented, and routed promptly

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment

· Abide by all company safety standards

· Assist with RMA processing

· Perform other tasks as directed by leadership

Prefabrication Support Responsibilities

· Assist the Prefabrication Department with staging, assembling, and preparing security system components prior to shipment.

· Support configuration and labeling of prefabricated equipment under the direction of engineering or project teams.

· Help organize and document prefabricated parts and devices by job to ensure accurate field deployment.

· Package and prepare prefabricated materials for shipment following successful configuration.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient prefabrication workspace.

· Coordinate with Warehouse, Engineering, and Project teams to ensure prefabricated materials meet job requirements and schedules.

Physical Demands & Safety:

· Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.

· Frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and stand for long periods of time

· Regularly required to reach with hands and arms

· Ability to climb stairs and ladders

· Ability to work in all weather conditions

· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Qualifications:

· Comfortable working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment and elevated stations

· Strong organizational, time-management, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills

· Exposure to or interest in security system prefabrication, low-voltage equipment, or technical assembly work.

· Ability to follow technical documentation, labeling standards, and job-specific instructions.

· Experience working collaboratively with engineering or project teams.

· Great attention to detail, quality, and safety

· High school diploma or equivalent

· At least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous warehouse experience in fast-paced environments

· Current forklift and scissor lift certifications a plus

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

· Active Listening and Reading Comprehension skills
