This role offers a dynamic opportunity to lead and optimize global supply chain operations for critical medical products. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will manage key supplier relationships, oversee inventory and procurement processes, and drive operational excellence across multiple functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain performance, support new product launches, and implement cost and risk management initiatives. This position requires strategic thinking, operational rigor, and the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. You will have significant impact on the organization’s ability to deliver essential products safely and efficiently to customers worldwide. Remote work flexibility and some domestic and international travel allow you to engage with global teams and suppliers directly.
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will:
- Serve as the primary contact for a defined set of global suppliers, ensuring performance targets are achieved.
- Plan, forecast, and manage inventory, purchasing, and supplier-related operational processes.
- Organize and lead supplier meetings, including monthly and quarterly business reviews, issue resolution, and process improvement initiatives.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Support internal alignment across Product, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Care teams to ensure smooth operations and new product introductions.
- Manage cost improvement initiatives, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning with suppliers.
- Oversee RFP processes for new products and alternative supplier selection.
- Comply with QMS and SOX requirements, maintaining regulatory and quality standards.
Candidates should bring:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier management, supply chain, planning, or inventory management.
- Strong understanding of Finance, Operations, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Quality, and Administration processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills for collaboration at all levels.
- Experience presenting projects and recommendations to executive management.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and self-direction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Flexibility to engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10–20% of the time.
- Competitive base salary range: $124,000–$156,000 annually.
