Bloomingfoods has been a community-owned cooperative (co-op) grocery store since 1976. Unpaid Internship: Help Desk Support - Older Equipment
Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience working with legacy technology and systems? We're looking for a motivated intern to assist with help desk support, specifically focusing on older equipment such as PBX phone systems and Cat5 cabling.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for older systems, including PBX phone systems and Cat5 cabling setups.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues with telecommunications equipment, wiring, and network connections.
- Help with maintenance and minor repairs to legacy equipment.
- Document and track support requests, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions.
- Work closely with team members to improve system functionality and ensure smooth operation.
Requirements:
- Interest or experience in working with older technology such as PBX systems and Cat5 cabling.
- Intermediate understanding of telecommunications and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to assist both technical and non-technical users.
- Willingness and ability to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.
- Familiarity with PBX phone systems and cabling is a plus.
