This leadership role is responsible for shaping and driving the mobile platform strategy for a fast-growing, consumer-focused technology organization. The Director will lead a high-performing team of mobile engineers, ensuring the development of scalable, reliable, and engaging mobile applications across iOS and Android. They will collaborate closely with product, design, analytics, and compliance teams to deliver seamless user experiences and support the launch of innovative mobile-first products. The role emphasizes technical excellence, team development, and operational efficiency, with a strong focus on delivering measurable business impact. This position combines strategic vision, hands-on engineering leadership, and cross-functional collaboration in a remote-friendly, high-growth environment.

• Lead and scale the mobile engineering organization, establishing a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration
• Define and execute the mobile platform vision, including architecture, frameworks, and best practices for iOS and Android development
• Oversee the delivery of robust, high-quality mobile applications that enhance customer engagement and retention
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, Analytics, and Compliance, to ensure alignment with business goals
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering leaders and individual contributors, fostering ownership and accountability
• Establish KPIs to measure engineering efficiency, product performance, and overall business impact
• Drive automation, CI/CD improvements, and process optimization to accelerate development and maintain high-quality releases

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading mobile engineering teams in high-growth, consumer-facing technology companies
• Strong background in native mobile development, including expertise in React Native for iOS and Android
• Demonstrated ability to scale teams and structure organizations while balancing technical leadership with people management
• Experience collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Analytics to deliver customer-centric mobile experiences
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure impact and implement continuous improvement
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills, capable of influencing across multiple functions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
