This role offers the opportunity to lead and optimize the payer credentialing function within a high-performing healthcare environment. You will oversee day-to-day credentialing, enrollment, and re-credentialing operations while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. The position requires strategic thinking, strong operational execution, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with payers, providers, and internal teams. You will drive process improvements, implement best practices, and mentor a team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and a positive client experience. - Lead a high-performing payer credentialing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee and optimize credentialing, enrollment, and re-credentialing processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and payer requirements to proactively adjust workflows.
- Maintain adherence to all state and federal laws, including HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations, and comply with organizational codes of conduct.
- Implement technology and process improvements to enhance quality, productivity, and revenue impact.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, payers, and providers.
- Ensure timely completion of all credentialing and enrollment activities, holding yourself and the team accountable.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5–7 years of experience in credentialing management within managed care, healthcare, or laboratory environments.
- Strong knowledge of payer credentialing, provider data management, enrollment processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and cross-functional relationships effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems, and execute operational initiatives.
- Experience with MS Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, and Salesforce; familiarity with Monday.com and Smartsheet is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks independently.
- Competitive salary range: $121,400 – $151,700 USD, dependent on experience and location.
