Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:


We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and daily operations of a busy 200 acres country club. This role is responsible for maintaining buildings, occasionally assist grounds maintenance staff and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and high-quality environment for members and guests. The ideal candidate is adaptable, hands-on, and experienced across multiple trades.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs across facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure facilities are operating efficiently
  • Assist with basic construction and renovation projects as needed
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and organized condition
  • Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
  • Adapt to changing priorities and schedules based on facility needs

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in resort, commercial, residential facilities maintenance, or a combination of these
  • Basic knowledge of multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
  • Must possess own basic tools required to perform duties
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability and willingness to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to read and write in English
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and operational demands
  • Must be able to work a rotating on-call schedule for after hours and weekend needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic construction knowledge
  • Highschool diploma, GED or higher

Work Schedule:

  • Regular hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (includes 30-minute lunch break)
  • Schedule may vary based on facility needs, projects, or emergencies

Work Environment:


This position involves working both indoors and outdoors across a large property. Tasks may require physical labor, including lifting, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking.
