About This Position
PUTAWAY ASSOCIATE
JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt
JOB OVERVIEW:
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Put Away position is responsible for quickly removing scanned products and putting them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
- Move product to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
- Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
- Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and GM
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
- Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
- Must be tech-savvy
- Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
