Project Engineer / CAD Specialist at C Global Inc – Nokomis, Florida

High-End Residential Construction | Full Time

We specialize in custom luxury residential construction and are seeking a Project Engineer / CAD Specialist who enjoys being involved in both the technical and field side of building exceptional homes.

This role supports our Project Management team by assisting with project documentation, coordination, technical drawings, and construction administration. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both project management systems and CAD software while collaborating with field teams, subcontractors, and design professionals.

• Manage and track RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure timely review and approval.

• Maintain organized project documentation within Procore and other project management systems.

• Assist Project Managers with project schedules, budgets, and work plans.

• Coordinate communication between field teams, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and vendors.

• Support quality control and compliance with project specifications and building codes.

• Identify potential project issues and assist in developing solutions to keep projects on schedule.

• Support project cost tracking and documentation.

• Prepare and update architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD.

• Assist with 2D and 3D modeling using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.

• Review blueprints and construction documents to ensure accuracy and constructability.

• Revise drawings and layouts based on project updates and field conditions.

• Assist with Leica 360 scan imports and conversions when applicable.

• Calculate dimensions, material quantities, and other technical details required for project documentation.

• Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

• Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to support daily project operations.

• Conduct occasional site visits to verify drawings and gather field information.

• Assist with preparation of project reports, documentation, and schedules.

• Help maintain clear communication between office staff, field teams, and project stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Drafting, or related field preferred
  (Associate degree with relevant experience considered).

• 2–4 years of experience in project engineering, construction coordination, or CAD drafting.

• Experience working with construction documentation including RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) required.

• Experience with Revit and Navisworks preferred.

• Experience with Procore or similar construction project management software.

• Familiarity with construction documentation, plans, and specifications.

• Experience with Leica 360 scanning technology is a plus.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a construction team environment.

Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Salary: Based on experience
Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000
