We’re looking for a Seasonal Retail Clerk at our Camp Dean! This position is the key point of contact for customers at the Trading Post, 46W253 Camp Dean Road, Big Rock, IL

Start: 05/11/2026 and End: 08/03/2026

Days & Hours: Salary: $18.00 hourly

Tuesday, 9a. – 3p.

Thursday, 11a. – 5p.

Friday, 11a. – 5p.

We’re looking for dedicated individuals who:

Believe in the Girl Scout Mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
Are excited to be actively involved in giving girls the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values to become leaders in their own lives and their communities.

Interested? Responsibilities would include:

Creating a welcoming, customer-centric atmosphere in the Trading Post Assisting customers in-person with product needs Handling retail sales transactions and processing payments and counting down register at end of shift Notify manager of low stock Set up times with manager for deposits

Skills and experience we are looking for:

Comfortable with cash handling Must be comfortable working with computers Ability to work independently Good communication skills—and ability to communicate with children and volunteers Must have patience, you will be working with children	Minimum of 1 year related work experience Ability to push/pull 30 lbs occasionally Must be comfortable working outside, occasionally exposed to the elements High School Diploma or equivalent required
