About This Position
Position Overview
The Director of Marketing will be a results-driven professional who will drive growth across the customer base. As a hands-on leader, the Director will be essential in positioning Hudson as the thought leader and trusted partner that organizations turn to when they need lifecycle refrigerant management solutions
The Director will lead programs that expand market reach, engage key stakeholders, and equip the company’s teams to grow with clarity and consistency, while continuously optimizing based on insights and results. The Director will oversee brand management, marketing programs, and communications, and collaborate closely with sales to ensure that the Hudson Technologies brand is unique, strong, and consistent.
This role often serves as a bridge between the SVP of Sales and Marketing and senior leadership teams focusing on operationalizing strategy and day-to-day marketing objectives at the company.
Specific responsibilities:
- Translate business goals into compelling market narratives that resonate with prospects and partners. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and plans aligned with the company’s business goals.
- Lead brand strategy, architecture, and development. Ensure a consistent, differentiated presence across all touchpoints—digital and physical.
- Oversee the design and execution of high-performing marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels to drive brand awareness to generate sales activity, qualified leads, and organic growth.
- Manage the company’s trade show strategy and drive the execution including tradeshows, selection, planning, execution, and lead follow-up.
- Collaborate with sales to develop tools, case studies, and touchpoints that deepen relationships with customers & partners, support retention, and foster brand loyalty.
- Collaborate with the corporate development and strategy function to align the marketing function’s strategy, goals, and objectives with overall company plans.
- Implement and manage key performance metrics, analytics tools, and reporting structures to measure success.
- Oversee product launches, promotional activities, and sales enablement materials to support the sales team.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies related to marketing.
- Build and develop a high-performing marketing and communications team.
- Oversee product marketing, marketing research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify opportunities.
- Oversee PR strategy, media relationships, and executive visibility to position Hudson as a category leader by securing earned placements, bylines, interviews, and speaking opportunities
- Partner with People & Culture to support internal communications, employer branding, and recruiting marketing efforts.
- Manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and tracking of ROI on campaigns.
Required Skills
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field is required.
- An MBA is preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, ideally in chemicals, HVAC/R, or industrial manufacturing.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful marketing, branding, lead generation and thought leadership strategies.
- Experience collaborating closely with sales, new product and service launches, and senior leadership.
- Proficiency in CRM, SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, and other digital channels.
- Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and budgets.
