About This Position
Boulder Imaging is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our talented team and growth! As a key member of the Production and Installation team you will be responsible for conducting FIB/SEM-based processing and data analysis, helping develop necessary analytical procedures, and maintaining the analytical equipment. In this position, no two days will be the same. Candidates should possess a problem-solving mentality and thrive in a dynamic environment that balances day-to-day workflow with longer-term strategic objectives. During periods of low demand, you will be assigned various miscellaneous projects and may be requested to provide support in additional areas such as warehouse operations, Industrial tasks, Global Field Operations, Federal Reserve, and maintenance.
Requirements:- Assemble opto-mechanical & electro-mechanical systems.
- Assemble electrical enclosure systems & server racks.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot additive manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality parts.
- Follow procedures and complete related quality records.
- Qualify equipment and components using test fixtures and procedures.
- Configure firmware on boards following written instructions using fixtures and computers.
- Exercise troubleshooting skills to evaluate periodic production interruptions.
- Accurately identify, record, and escalate non-conformities during the production build process.
- Perform wiring and soldering with the aid of wiring diagrams.
- Conduct cycle counts.
- Package finished products for shipping.
- Kit material for daily tasks.
- Use computer systems for recording quality records, labor time and communicating with team members.
- Maintain an organized, clean and safe workplace.
Education, Work Experience and Skills
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
- Two years of experience in an industrial/assembly environment.
- Proficient with hand tools.
- Comfortable with procedures, wiring diagrams, computers, quality record systems, and ERP software.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with NetSuite (or other ERP/MRP system) and Jira or SharePoint a plus.
- Problem solving skills along with a passion for producing quality products for customers.
- A desire to learn and grow new skills.
- Strong communication, organization and documentation skills.
- Must be able to lift and move items over 50 pounds.
- Experience with circuit board diagnostics, wire diagram troubleshooting, and soldering will be a major plus for this role.
