About This Position
Summary:
The Loan Servicing Manager is responsible for overseeing all loan servicing operations, including staff performing routine and complex servicing activities across consumer and commercial portfolios. This role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, and effective team leadership. This position reports directly to the Director of Credit Services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead Loan Servicing staff across all levels, including hiring, training, performance management, and development
- Oversee daily loan servicing activities including payments, payoffs, escrow administration, rate adjustments, system maintenance, including complex and high-risk transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate servicing of consumer and commercial loans, including real estate, participation/syndications, lines of credit, and escrow administration.
- Establish and maintain servicing procedures, workflows, and internal controls
- Monitor servicing exceptions, error trends, and operational risk indicators
- Assist Director of Credit Administration with audits, exams, and regulatory inquiries related to loan servicing
- Partner with Credit, Loan Operations, IT, and Compliance on servicing initiatives, system enhancements, and conversions
- Review and approve complex servicing transactions, adjustments, and non-standard requests
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and servicing standards
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies to support scalability and growth
- Be the subject matter expert on the core system.
Education And/Or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent banking experience
- 10+ years of progressive loan servicing or loan operations experience
- Minimum of 3 years of people management or team lead experience
- Strong knowledge of consumer and commercial loan servicing requirements
- Demonstrated experience with core banking systems and servicing workflows
- Working knowledge of banking regulations impacting loan servicing

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer workstation

- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching within the office environment
- Ability to lift and carry files or office materials weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by telephone, and via electronic communication
