Junior Networking Technician at Babson College – Wellesley, Massachusetts

• Key functions of this request include:
• Assist staff in reducing wired ports in all campus buildings to support a wireless first campus.
• Surveying wireless signal strength and coverage indoors and outdoors.
• Shadow members of the network and other IT teams to gain knowledge of different roles in IT.
• Replacement of batteries in UPS units which provide backup power to critical network equipment.
• Assist NEO staff with replacing network components (switches, access points, routers) as directed.
• Assist NEO staff with scripting and small software projects as directed

This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $24.00. This position includes paid sick leave where required by law. Eligibility, accrual, and usage will follow applicable state and local regulations.
