Job Title: Day Porter - Building Services/Cleaning Attendant (Full Time positon)

VRI's Client Location: The American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231

Work Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4 pm

Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI), is immediately hiring for a Full Time, Day Shift Porter/Office Cleaner and Building Services Attendant who has personality, precision, and a passion for making workspaces shine and people smile! This position supports our VRI Client: The American Heart Association (AHA). VRI supports ourClient, providing custodial and maintenance needs, for 3 office buildings.

The ideal Candidate will be reliable and proactive, with a positive & friendly demeanor. The Day Porter will maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and professional appearance of our client's corporate facility (office buildings), during business hours and will ensure that common areas are tidy, supplies are stocked, and minor maintenance issues are addressed promptly, contributing to a welcoming and productive work environment. We expect the Day Porter to be approachable by visitors and staff, yet be efficient in getting the work completed.

Note: Uniforms provided

Day to Day tasks:

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, break rooms, and conference areas throughout the day; keep a tidy and orderly environment

• Monitor and restock restroom and kitchen supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper)

• Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting larger issues to facilities management

• Empty trash bins and recycling containers regularly

• Clean up spills and respond to minor emergencies (e.g., leaks, messes)

• Assist with meeting room setups and breakdowns as needed

• Ensure entrances and high-traffic areas remain clean and presentable

• Provide courteous customer service to employees and visitors

• Collaborate with janitorial and maintenance teams for larger tasks

  • Must be an Ambassador for SAFETY!

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in custodial or facilities support preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work in team environment or work independently on assigned tasks

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
