Responsibilities:

• Directed and coordinated production, distribution, and warehousing operations in alignment with company policies and procedures
• Collaborated with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize production efficiency and resource utilization
• Partnered with leadership to establish production goals, quality standards, budgets, and cost control measures
• Developed and implemented strategies to maximize the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel
• Supported implementation and continuous improvement of the quality management system
• Analyzed production, quality, and maintenance reports to identify issues and drive corrective actions
• Planned and prioritized production schedules to meet operational goals and delivery requirements
• Monitored production costs and product quality, introducing process improvements to increase profitability and reduce waste
• Applied Lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Kanban) to improve operational efficiency and workflow
• Utilized performance metrics (throughput, quality, efficiency, scrap, output) to evaluate and improve operations
• Communicated effectively across all organizational levels and with external vendors and customers to resolve issues and improve collaboration
• Managed personnel activities, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions for supervisors and engineering staff
• Conducted investigations into production losses, inventory discrepancies, safety incidents, and employee concerns
• Maintained strict confidentiality of sensitive company and employee information
• Oversaw the facilitys quality management system when serving as site leader, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and alignment with customer requirements
• Reported system performance to executive leadership and promoted company-wide awareness of quality standards and customer expectations

Required Experience:

• Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of supervisory or management experience; or 8+ years of equivalent leadership experience in lieu of a degree
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems
