R L Industries has a full-time Fiberglass Laminator position available in Fairfield, OH. Our Fiberglass Laminators play a critical role in the manufacturing process by expertly applying liquid resin and catalyst to mold services, roving and chopped fiberglass. The position hours are Monday - Friday from 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with the opportunity for consistent overtime.

What We Require for This Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in fiberglass lamination or composite manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of fiberglass materials, resins, and curing processes.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work overtime.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare fiberglass materials and work surfaces according to production specifications.
• Mount rolls of fiberglass on chopper gun machine spindles.
• Operate and maintain the chopper gun and other lamination equipment.
• Layer roving onto the mold for application of resin and chop.
• Observe lamination process to ensure proper curing of laminated materials by monitoring temperature, speed and pressure controls.
• Inspect finished laminations for defects such as air bubbles, wrinkles, or delamination and use rollers to make corrections.
