Bosch Building Technologies Integrator Business

The regional system integration business called Bosch Building Technologies offers solutions and customized services for building security, energy efficiency, and building automation for commercial buildings and infrastructure projects Bosch started its Integrator Business in North America through the acquisition of Climatec in 2015. Climatec expanded Bosch’s role as a comprehensive supplier of energy, building automation and security solutions. Climatec is recognized in the building industry as an independent single-source integrator of critical building systems including energy services, building automation and security & life safety in the U.S. market. The company provides consulting, planning, implementation and 24/7 remote management. Climatec is active in several market segments and industries including data centers, commercial real estate buildings, and federal, state, and local government. Climatec has operated as an independent entity, maintaining its offices in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, New York, and New Jersey. Climatec continues to represent and integrate numerous leading manufactures’ product lines across its wide range of services, including Bosch products. Job Summary: The Installation Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and executing all personnel and material resources required for the timely and accurate installation, inspection, and repair of security, access control, and CCTV systems within the region. This role drives operational excellence, team development, financial performance, and customer satisfaction, and may also oversee service operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Company in a professional manner in both conduct and appearance to maximize client satisfaction.
  • Maintain all professional licenses required by state and local jurisdictions.
  • Work outside normal business hours as needed.
  • Plan, schedule, supervise, and manage installation and service projects to ensure quality, efficiency, and on‑time completion.
  • Lead, develop, and coach team members to support strong job performance and long‑term growth.
  • Monitor system performance to minimize malfunctions and maximize operational effectiveness.
  • Evaluate installation and service operations for cost savings, margin improvement, and product enhancements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry codes, standards, and emerging technologies.
  • Communicate industry changes and system advancements to associates and customers.
  • Partner with the Project Management team to support profitability, quality, and project success.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain proper field operations equipment, tools, supplies, and par‑level inventories.
  • Demonstrate and promote exceptional customer service and compliance standards.
  • Model strong organizational skills and solution‑oriented leadership.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee training and quality consistency for field operations personnel during installations.
  • Assist with accurate labor forecasting and resource planning.
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new employees.
  • Coach team members to ensure high‑quality customer service and technical performance.
  • Train installers and technicians on processes, procedures, and new technologies.
  • Conduct on‑site inspections to evaluate workmanship, safety compliance, and service quality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Supervisor Duties: In accordance with applicable Company policies/procedures and Federal/State laws, will perform the following supervisory responsibilities: Approving timesheets and time‑off requests, planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of management or leadership experience
  • 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in installation, inspection, repair, or construction of integrated security systems or comparable services
  • Demonstrated financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence outcomes within a matrixed, cross-functional organization
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in technical discipline
  • Broader or advanced experience (5+ years) within the security industry
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, quality, and ethical business practices
  • Physical Demands:

    In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

    • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers
    • Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipment
    • Sitting, standing, walking in office environments and construction sites
    • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may be required to work at heights over 1.8m (6 feet)


    Working Conditions:

    In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

    • The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate
    • Will be required to be on site with customers or contractors, with or without Bosch Building Technologies colleagues to manage the expectations and deliverables. Sites range from general office environments to new construction.
    • Driving to customer sites is required
    • Limited overnight travel may be required

    Additional Information:

  • Compensation: $95,000 - $125,000
  • Working Hours: This position generally works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessary
