Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Manager, the Central Supply Technician works and cooperate with Receiving and Distribution staff.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma Previous hospital central distribution experience and med/surg supply knowledge Computer skills desirable Preferred:

College degree

Scheduling Requirements

Shift: Day Time: 7:00am - 3:00pm Full-Time: 37.5 hrs. Must work some weekends/holidays

Essential Functions:

Distribution of medical and surgical supplies, including Pyxis and non Pyxis stock to all nursing care units. Ensures proper rotation of dated inventory and maintains cleanliness of storeroom area. Supply CMMC with both sterile and non-sterile products, restock medical/surgical supplies in the Pyxis Supply Stations and performs Pyxis station inventories regularly. Distributes equipment such as IV pumps, Flowtron, Gomco, etc., and picks up dirty equipment and instruments. Assembles traction equipment as needed. Replenishes storeroom stock daily, and maintains cleanliness of department.
