Position Summary

The Planner is responsible for preparing, updating, and completing work packages and technical records throughout maintenance projects, in accordance with Jet Aviation procedures, aviation regulations, and customer requirements. The role reports to the Aircraft Maintenance Planer and ensures both technical planning and documentation are executed to the highest standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • UAE National Diploma or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years in aircraft maintenance planning, preferably for corporate aircraft.
  • Experience with CAMP/CMP/Corridor/SAP S4 is required.
  • Good knowledge of how to manage Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and Life Limited Parts (LLPs).
  • Knowledge of reliability monitoring and reporting.


Main Responsibilities

  • Plan scheduled maintenance for customer-owned Bell 412 helicopters and produce reports from the maintenance tracking system.
  • Organize for due maintenance to be performed within Maintenance Manual limits and ensure any defects identified are rectified.
  • Enter data into the maintenance tracking system (CAMP) and manage & archive all aircraft technical records.
  • Administer the Work Order (WO) register and follow the operator's aircraft maintenance program and scheduled maintenance accordingly.
  • Establish Electronic Work Orders (EWO) for aircraft and component maintenance.
  • Prepare work reports, log book entries, and Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) statements.
  • Assist dedicated project coordinators to ensure congruency of work documents with all accomplished work and cross-check that required documentation is properly completed and signed.
  • Administer respective aircraft records and consolidate completed electronic work orders.
  • Observe relevant procedures of the Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Promote quality consciousness and continuous improvement within the planning function.
  • Monitor and communicate aircraft project status with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all planning and documentation activities are conducted in compliance with Civil Aviation regulations, Part 145, and Jet Aviation policies.

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, with occasionally high volume when aircraft arrive or depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration and may occasionally encounter fuel fumes. The employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The hangar environment may be extremely hot or cold during certain seasons of the year.
