As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will make lives better for patients through diagnostic, remediation, and management services for individuals referred to Communication Disorders with speech, language, voice, hearing, language-based cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders. Strong interpersonal skills to ensure that patients are treated with care and dignity will be essential in this role.
Part time Clinical Fellowship SLP Temp position August 2026 through July 2027.
Role requires State of WA SLP conditional licensure. Role does not require credentialing since it is a CFY temp role.
Responsibilities
The Conditional Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist will provide diagnostic, remediation, and management services for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric individuals referred to Communication Disorders with speech, language, hearing, language-based cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders while under the supervision of:
A Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist OR
An individual who holds a certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology or audiology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association or any other organization acceptable to the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
Qualifications
Education:
Masters Degree or PhD in Speech-Language Pathology.
Skills:
Knowledge of medical and neurological terminology and behavioral management techniques.
Exceptional verbal and written skills.
Demonstrates competency, as appropriate to the ages of patients served, in the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs; knowledge of normal growth and development; and an understanding of the range of treatment needed.
Excellent organizational skills to facilitate program development.
Solid computer skills.
