Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in irrigation system repair and maintenance, preferably in golf course or large landscape settings.
• Ability to read and write English proficiently to understand technical manuals and communicate effectively.
• Physical capability to reach with hands and arms, use hands and fingers dexterously, and maintain peripheral vision for safety.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between job sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in irrigation technology or related field (e.g., Certified Irrigation Technician).
• Experience with computerized irrigation control systems and troubleshooting software.
• Knowledge of water conservation practices and local irrigation regulations.
• Familiarity with golf course maintenance practices and turfgrass management.
• Basic electrical and plumbing skills related to irrigation system components.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems including valves, sprinklers, pipes, and controllers to ensure proper functionality.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to identify leaks, clogs, or mechanical failures and perform necessary repairs promptly.
• Read and interpret irrigation system blueprints, manuals, and technical documents to guide installation and troubleshooting processes.
• Collaborate with golf course maintenance staff to schedule irrigation activities that minimize disruption and optimize turf health.
