About This Position

K2 Claims Services, LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Investigations Manager to lead investigation operations within the Rubicon division. Reporting to the VP of Investigations, this remote leadership role is responsible for supervising Claims Investigation Professionals and support staff, overseeing complex and high-profile investigations, and ensuring the delivery of industry-leading investigative services to K2 clients.

This position plays a key role in developing and implementing investigation policies and procedures, managing vendor relationships, driving cost-containment strategies, maintaining strong client and law enforcement partnerships, and staying current with SIU regulations and industry trends, contributing to operational excellence and continued growth.

Job Summary: The primary goal of the Investigations Manager is to provide industry leading insurance investigation services for K2 clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, administer, and supervise Claims Investigation Professionals and Support Staff.
  • Provide training, evaluations, and offer solutions to correct issues.
  • Review and process claim investigation referrals and completed investigation reports.
  • Manage vendor performance and relationships.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement investigation policies and procedures; recommend and implement goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, law enforcement, and SIU industry personnel.
  • Personally handle and oversee high profile investigations.
  • Assist with training programs for K2 and customer staff.
  • Stay abreast of trends and innovations in the field of claims, investigations, and SIU regulations.
  • Develop, monitor, and implement cost containment strategies to prevent and minimize losses.
  • Assist the VP of Investigations. Provide staff reports and other correspondence as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to details.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of claims and investigations experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ management experience.

Salary Range: $80,000-$115,000 USD/Per year
