Senior Accountant at Stonegrove Roofing Partners – Lancaster, Pennsylvania

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
• Prepare monthly and as-needed journal entries
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Monitor and maintain the general ledger
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Monitor cash receipts and disbursements
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on adherence to financial controls and guidelines
• Back up the Accounting Coordinator, whose main functions include accounts payable, cash receipts, and payroll
• Maximize payroll efficiency by ensuring process adherence
• Assist with compiling and providing data to support short- and long-term operational strategies
• Compile information for 1099s and other year-end reporting
• Assist in monitoring performance of various initiatives (promos, sales contests, etc.)
• Assist with conducting operational audits to confirm adherence to pricing agreements (vendors, subcontractors, rebates, etc.)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field required
• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong understanding of GAAP
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Excellent data management and analytical skills
• Preferred: Construction industry experience, Sage Intacct familiarity, supervisory experience
