Marina Manager at Gage Marine Corporation – Green Lake, Wisconsin

Gage Marine – Green Lake is seeking a motivated, personable, and hands-on Marina Manager to oversee daily marina operations during our busy summer season. This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys working on the water. The Marina Manager is responsible for supervising pier staff, managing inventory and vendor orders, handling scheduling, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences at every touchpoint.

Team Leadership & Scheduling

• Supervise, train, and support all pier staff
• Create and manage weekly staff schedules
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
• Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently

Operations & Inventory Management

• Order food, beverages, and marina supplies from approved vendors
• Monitor inventory levels and control costs
• Coordinate deliveries and maintain organized storage areas

Financial Duties

• Prepare and make bank deposits
• Oversee daily cash handling procedures
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and reporting

Guest Experience

• Provide friendly, welcoming, and professional service to all marina guests
• Address customer questions or concerns promptly and courteously
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting marina environment

• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused attitude
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends and summer holidays
• Prior management, hospitality, retail, or marina experience preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation
