How You’ll Make an Impact:
As the VBSPCA Volunteer Coordinator, you are part of an enthusiastic, professional and mission-driven team. You will coordinate and provide support to our current volunteer force as well as those seeking to become VBSPCA volunteers. You’ll assist in volunteer coordination of VBSPCA Outreach and Signature Events and promote volunteer opportunities through volunteer communication platforms. You will work collaboratively with the Director of Human Resources to provide a rewarding volunteer experience while ensuring the needs of the shelter are met.
What We are Looking For in this Dynamic Job:
The ideal candidate is a creative detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for animal welfare, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with volunteers and community stakeholders. You will have the ability to work collaboratively with several internal and external partners, coordinate volunteer program initiatives, and engage with a dedicated volunteer force.

Compensation - Hourly Rate: $17/per hour - $18/per hour - commensurate with experience
This position mainly works Tuesday through Saturday with occasional evening hours for outreach and/or VBSPCA Signature Events.
This position will be scheduled up to 30 hours a week.
