Since 2008, we have prided ourselves on our collaborative, innovative, and customer-focused approach. Enjoying a period of unprecedented growth, driven by the combination of cutting-edge technology, human touch, and unwavering integrity, we are looking to add to our people first culture, with highly motivated and results-oriented professionals, to push the limits of what’s possible while creating value for all of our partners.
The Credit Analyst II position is built for a credit professional who has developed strong technical fundamentals and is ready to take on greater ownership and impact.
In this role, you will independently evaluate commercial loan applications, apply sound underwriting judgment, and contribute meaningfully to portfolio performance. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and senior credit leaders while refining your ability to assess risk, structure deals, and communicate clear, well supported credit decisions.
This role is designed for someone who wants to deepen their expertise. You will apply disciplined credit analysis, strengthen your decision making authority, and continue developing advanced underwriting judgment in a fast paced lending environment that values accountability and collaboration.
What You'll Do
  • Perform routine analysis of financial documents and bank statements to evaluate the creditworthiness of commercial loan applicants.
  • Assess the financial health of businesses by analyzing key financial metrics, such as cash flows, liquidity, profitability, and leverage.
  • Analyze personal and business credit and background reports to identify credit risks associated with commercial loan applicants.
  • Assess the impact of the guarantor on the company’s ability to service debt.
  • Prepare a brief statement based on established criteria and policies summarizing underwriting recommendations for commercial loan decisions.
  • Make multiple credit decisions per day while building toward individual approval authority.
  • Possess a well-rounded knowledge of pricing, structuring, and stipulations based on risk profile.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to communicate underwriting decisions to internal stakeholders and provide information.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics.
What You'll Bring
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Four to six years of experience in finance, banking, accounting, underwriting, or a similar analytical environment.
  • Experience working within small business and/or commercial lending is highly desirable.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial statement analysis and the ability to interpret complex financial data with confidence.
  • Understanding of small business lending dynamics and common industry risk considerations.
  • Strong analytical thinking and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to make complex credit decisions in a deadline driven environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and confidence presenting underwriting rationale.
  • A cover letter is highly encouraged, as it gives us greater insight into your experience and career aspirations.
Why You'll Love It Here
  • You will take meaningful ownership of underwriting decisions that directly impact portfolio performance.
  • You will deepen your technical expertise while strengthening your independent judgment.
  • You will work alongside experienced credit professionals in a collaborative, accountable environment.
  • You will continue building a clear path toward senior underwriting or leadership opportunities.
We Offer
  • Comprehensive medical, vision and dental benefits that give you peace of mind.
  • Hybrid work schedule allowing you to split your week between coming into the office and working remotely from home.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) that let you use pre-tax dollars to cover healthcare expenses.
  • A fantastic 401K with matching contributions that helps you plan for retirement and build wealth over time.
  • Generous sick, vacation, and holiday benefits that give you the time and flexibility you need to enjoy life.
  • Paid parental leave to support new and expecting parents, helping offset time away from work as you welcome and care for your growing family.
  • A gym membership contribution that supports your well-being, and helps you stay energized and focused.
  • An internal referral program that rewards you for bringing talented people to the team.
  • Company events that foster a positive and inclusive culture, and create opportunities to bond and grow with your colleagues.
A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $36.06 to $45.67 per hour.
