• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs to support core platform functionalities
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and system architecture
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security through best practices, testing, and code reviews
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve system design and development processes
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth within the team
• Conduct system evaluations and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and innovation

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• At least 5 years of experience in backend development, building scalable and reliable applications
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern backend development frameworks
• Solid experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling best practices
• Familiarity with cloud environments and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of system design, performance optimization, and secure coding practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
