This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Director - Mid-Atlantic Region in United States.

This is a high-impact, individual contributor sales leadership role focused on driving enterprise growth across complex networking and security environments in the Mid-Atlantic region. The position involves owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and closure, while shaping strategic account expansion. You will engage with large enterprise customers to position advanced observability and security solutions that address hybrid infrastructure challenges. Operating in a fast-paced, highly technical environment, the role requires strong consultative selling skills and the ability to navigate multi-stakeholder deals. You will collaborate closely with internal product, engineering, and marketing teams to align solutions with evolving customer needs. This role is ideal for a self-driven sales professional who thrives on autonomy, complexity, and measurable impact on revenue growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and drive revenue growth within assigned Mid-Atlantic territory and key named enterprise accounts through both expansion and new business acquisition. Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies aligned with broader organizational objectives, identifying new market opportunities and expanding adoption of advanced networking and security solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders while ensuring consistent pipeline development and accurate forecasting in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to shape customer solutions, support product positioning, and provide market feedback for future enhancements.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements while acting as a trusted advisor on complex technical and business challenges.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of direct enterprise sales experience in networking, infrastructure, or network security environments with a strong track record of exceeding quota expectations.
  • Proven success in complex consultative and solution-based selling across large enterprise accounts, including experience managing long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to build executive-level relationships and influence decision-making within large organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) with disciplined forecasting and pipeline management practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Background in sales engineering or technical disciplines (Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering) considered a strong advantage.
  • Must reside in or have strong market presence in Maryland, Washington D.C., or Virginia.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package with base salary and commission, with a target range of $264,000 to $330,000 depending on performance and plan terms.
  • Eligibility for performance-based incentives, including profit interest or equity-related programs where applicable.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Retirement savings plan with company matching contributions.
  • Paid time off including vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
  • Tuition reimbursement and employee assistance program.
  • Business travel accident insurance and employee discount programs.
  • Referral bonuses and other employee recognition initiatives.
