Danaher Business System Director, Global Commercial

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Danaher Business System Director, Global Commercial in the United States.

This strategic leadership role is focused on driving enterprise-wide commercial excellence through the deployment of a structured continuous improvement system across global Sales, Marketing, and Service functions. It plays a key role in translating business strategy into high-impact operational initiatives that accelerate growth, improve efficiency, and strengthen commercial capabilities. The position is responsible for embedding a culture of continuous improvement while enabling AI-driven transformation across commercial processes. It works closely with senior leaders to identify performance gaps, eliminate inefficiencies, and scale best practices across international markets. The role also acts as a key connector between global commercial teams and enterprise transformation offices to ensure alignment and consistency. It is ideal for a highly analytical, commercially experienced leader who thrives in complex, matrixed, global environments.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the deployment of the commercial continuous improvement system, ensuring enterprise-wide adoption across global Sales, Marketing, and Service organizations.
  • Define and execute the annual strategic improvement agenda in partnership with senior commercial leadership, aligning initiatives with business growth priorities.
  • Drive execution of key commercial excellence frameworks, including funnel management, pricing optimization, marketing effectiveness, and product launch performance.
  • Identify systemic inefficiencies across commercial workflows and lead initiatives to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and improve scalability and speed.
  • Develop leadership capability in continuous improvement methodologies through coaching in policy deployment, problem-solving, and daily management practices.
  • Partner with global and regional commercial leaders to align priorities, harmonize execution approaches, and promote best practice sharing across markets.
  • Influence the evolution of continuous improvement tools and methodologies by providing field insights and collaborating with enterprise transformation leadership.
  • Support AI-enabled transformation efforts to enhance commercial decision-making, productivity, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial leadership roles across Sales, Marketing, or Service functions, with strong preference for direct sales experience.
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement, business excellence, or operational transformation within complex organizations.
  • Experience working in global, matrixed environments with the ability to influence across diverse teams and geographies.
  • Strong understanding of commercial strategy, revenue growth drivers, and enterprise sales or marketing operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation initiatives and drive measurable business impact.
  • Experience integrating data, analytics, and AI tools into commercial processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong coaching, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with executive presence.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual compensation estimated between $250,000 and $270,000, plus bonus and incentive opportunities.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings plans.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and additional leave policies supporting work-life balance.
  • Eligibility for performance-based bonus and incentive compensation programs.
  • Flexible remote work arrangement with global collaboration opportunities.
  • Access to professional development, training, and leadership development programs.
  • Exposure to global transformation initiatives in a leading science and technology ecosystem.
  • Inclusive and innovation-driven culture focused on continuous improvement and impact.
