Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction throughout the property. This position oversees room attendants, public area attendants, laundry operations, and assists in maintaining hotel standards, safety procedures, and productivity goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise housekeeping staff and assign daily tasks and room assignments.
• Inspect guest rooms, hallways, public areas, laundry, and storage rooms to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Ensure all rooms are cleaned and ready according to hotel standards and deadlines.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, guidance, and corrective action when necessary.
• Maintain inventory of linens, towels, guest supplies, and cleaning products.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure repairs are completed.
• Coordinate with Front Desk regarding room status, early check-ins, late check-outs, and special requests.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Assist in scheduling employees and controlling labor costs.
• Respond professionally to guest concerns or complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Support laundry operations when needed.
• Maintain accurate housekeeping reports and documentation.

• Previous housekeeping experience required.
• Supervisory experience in hospitality preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
• Basic computer and reporting skills preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
