The Senior Director of Project Delivery serves as the primary strategic partner and operational extension of the EVP of Project Delivery, helping translate enterprise vision into executable frameworks across a rapidly scaling national portfolio. This leader is accountable for delivering projects safely, on schedule, on budget and to performance testing requirements, while building a scalable delivery system.
This role is instrumental in shaping and advancing the Project Delivery function by developing systems, processes, and organizational capabilities that support projects exceeding $100M. The Senior Director will drive consistency, accountability, operational excellence, and sustainable growth across all projects.
Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:
Serve as a strategic advisor and operational partner to the EVP of Project Delivery, helping drive execution of organizational priorities, special initiatives, and enterprise-wide project delivery strategy. Translate executive objectives into scalable systems, processes, and cross-functional action plans that strengthen project execution across a national portfolio. Support organizational design, team development, and infrastructure expansion for the growing Project Delivery function. Act on behalf of the EVP when needed to maintain continuity, accelerate decision-making, and leadership presence across teams and initiatives. Provide senior oversight and leadership across concurrent capital projects exceeding $100M Build and strengthen project governance frameworks, methodologies, policies, procedures, and controls to ensure consistency and scalability Ensure project resource strategies, and financing requirements are effectively structured, maintained, and fulfilled. Lead alignment across internal departments including commercial, engineering, operations, procurement, finance, safety and field execution to ensure integrated project success. Coordinate contractors, financing authorities, vendors, and external stakeholders to maintain proactive communication, issue resolution, and strategic alignment. Oversee procurement activities, capital expenditures, change management, and asset coordination while reinforcing financial discipline. Ensure project teams consistently meet or exceed contractual obligations, technical standards, safety expectations, and organizational best practices. Support operational startup planning and transition readiness to bridge installation into successful production and O&M execution. Lead and support Project Directors, and Managers to ensure successful execution of scope, budget, schedule, contractual requirements, and operational objectives. Strengthen leadership capability within the Project Delivery team by reinforcing accountability, process discipline, strategic thinking, and execution excellence. Mentor project managers and emerging leaders while helping establish clear expectations, performance standards, and development pathways. Foster a high-performance culture that balances technical complexity, urgency, collaboration, and business results. Demonstrate initiative, executive judgment, and problem-solving capability in technically challenging and fast-moving environments Communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams of engineers, operators, technicians, executives, and external stakeholdersThis position allows for growth and career progression to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Operations, or related technical field requiredMaster’s degree, MBA, or advanced technical/business education preferred PMP (Project Management Professional) strongly preferred.12+ years of progressive experience in large-scale project delivery, capital project execution, program management, or design-build environment7+ years of leadership experience overseeing complex, cross-functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, industrial, energy, infrastructure, or EPC-related industriesDemonstrated experience managing large capital programs ranging from multi-site minor capital to $100M+ enterprise projectsProven success in building or scaling project management systems, governance frameworks, and operational infrastructure within a high-growth environmentDeep knowledge of large-scale project delivery, organizational project governance, and operational execution Ability to build, implement, and continuously improve scalable systems Skilled in balancing strategic priorities with tactical execution Ability to lead through ambiguity and rapid organizational growth Strong contract, procurement, and financial oversight capabilities Knowledge of startup planning, commissioning, and operational transition best practices Ability to coach, mentor, and elevate project delivery teams Strong business acumen with understanding of organizational priorities, revenue drivers, and long-term scalability Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GEDMust have effective verbal, reading, and written communication skills in the English languageADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Compensation for this role is between $180,000 - $235,000 annuallyThis role may qualify for a discretionary bonus, recognizing outstanding contributions to team and company successThis role requires approximately 35% travel to support Sedron facilitiesIn compliance with state and local pay transparency laws, the expected compensation for this role is shared above. The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role and the final offer will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location. Compensation may be adjusted within this range to reflect regional cost-of-living differences in states where Sedron is hiring.Must be a US Citizen or legal permanent resident for this position.
