Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:

• As Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will supervise all nursing staff under the purview of the DON.
• You will help plan, develop, organize, and implement the day-to-day functions of the nursing department.
• You will help oversee your department budgets.
• You will communicate with doctors, residents, and family members about resident health.
• You will help implement new procedures and training nurses on policies.

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications:

• Individual must have 2 years experience as a DON or an ADON in long term care.
• Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois in good standing.
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment (PointClickCare).
• Ability to build rapport with patients and staff.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
